Our morning's 4 hour game drive was almost finished so we headed back to
camp.
We were
driving past the Ebony Grove when Sandy commented with annoyance that another
truck was parked just where he wanted to stop and show us something special.
Then we saw it was people from our camp (same uniform) and they were setting up trestle tables and chairs. Sandy feigned ignorance and drove us into the grove.

A surprise picnic brunch for the 12 guests;
sausages bacon and eggs cooked on a open fire, Bucks Fizz, the works!
A couple in the party of 4 Aussies asked if they could walk back to camp but as they were not exactly appropriately dressed for walking (him - bright blue football shirt, her - white trousers and floral pink top) Garth the manager tried to dissuade them.
Fortunately at that point a few more Elles dropped by and the Aussies' bravado suddenly disappeared.
